An Introduction to Mantle of the Expert: An online course
This FREE course will introduce you to the fundamental aspects of the Mantle of the Expert approach and its application in the classroom. Including:
- The key elements of Mantle of the Expert,
- Teaching as story-making: creating fictional contexts for learning,
- Using dramatic-inquiry: stepping into a fiction.
- Developing meaningful activities for curriculum learning.
Suitable for beginners and those developing their understanding of the approach. Approximately three hours long, consisting of video, audio, and reading materials. You can work at your own pace, either alone or with others – perfect for home learning or staff meetings. Each part includes an additional exercise for practicing the content of the session, as well as further reading.
