Saturday 10am - 4pm to Sunday 10am - 4pm

What if… your class becomes a team full of experts? This two-day training weekend is for teachers, school-leaders, classroom assistants, and students interested in using Mantle of the Expert across the Key Stages.
Run as a series of practice-based workshops, participants will be involved in a series of MoE contexts – experiencing ‘being inside the work’. They explore:
- how to build meaningful and engaging learning experiences for cross-curricular learning.
- how to use and apply Dorothy Heathcote’s dramatic conventions to develop immersive imaginary contexts.
- how to apply some of the more complex areas of the system, including building tension, sequencing and signing.
- methods for planning and assessment.
The weekend is led by Tim Taylor, trainer from the national UK team, expert in dramatic-inquiry, and author of “A Beginner’s Guide to Mantle of the Expert”.

This summer school is part of the research project ‘The artistic value of Mantle of the Expert in primary education' by Bob Selderslaghs
