Residential Training on Mantle of the Expert
Throughout the year we organise and run weekend residential training courses in mantle of the expert at Ringsfield Hall in Suffolk. These courses are ideal for both newcomers and experienced users. Running from Friday night until Sunday lunchtime, they contain a series of practical workshops that explore all the fundamental skills of drama, planning and teaching needed to teach MoE successfully in the classroom. The weekends are led by two trainers from the national team, Luke Abbott, a former student of Dorothy Heathcote and expert in dramatic-inquiry, and Tim Taylor a practicing teacher and AST.
Running since 2005, these courses are extremely popular and have proved successful in introducing and training hundreds of teachers in the use and application of mantle of the expert.
