We’re pleased to announce our latest programme of activities and events.
1. ‘It makes me feel like an adult, Miss!’ – How to motivate and empower children to become independent learners
Session led by Kate Katafiasz, Newman College. Suitable for all interested teachers
Venue: Newman College, Genners Lane, Bartley Green, Birmingham B32 3NT
Date: November 6th 2008 Time: 4pm – 6pm
2. ‘Where do I start?’ – First Steps in Planning Mantle of the Expert
This session will look at planning Mantle of the Expert at both primary and secondary level. Led by Iona Towler-Evans, David Allen, Maria Gee and Denise Jones
Venue: Newman College, Genners Lane, Bartley Green, Birmingham B32 3NT
Date: December 3rd 2008 Time: 4pm – 6pm
3. ‘How do I make it work in my school?’
Richard Kieron, Head of Grimley Holt Primary School, Worcester, will share with colleagues the challenges and opportunities of introducing Mantle of the Expert across the school. This session will be of particular interest to Heads, Assistants Heads, Curriculum Co-ordinators.
