The West Midlands Mantle of the Expert Network

This recently established network, formed in association with Newman University College, Birmingham, exists to enable members to learn more about the mantle of the expert approach and to share their ideas and experiences in order to support teachers in their professional development. There are at least three meetings a year, plus special events. Members also receive regular mailings.
One year’s membership costs £50 for schools & institutions and £30 for individuals.

The main benefit is that you will be part of a network of schools who are all trialling the M of E system-we share workshopw ‘in house ‘ as it were, and invite outside speakers. This weekend , November 14th we all had a day’s workshop with Luke Abbott which was fantastic and that was free to members. Dorothy will run two days iN January on Planning, Productive Tension and she will look at the use of materials in planning.
I am part of the team who run the network and I am a National Trainer for M of E, so hopefully can provide you with further contacts and keep you abreast with things nationally Hope this helps
