This conference on Professor Dorothy Heathcote’s dramatic-based system for learning is for all teachers, headteachers and others interested in innovative approaches to learning. The conference will feature a keynote address from Dr. Heathcote and practical workshop led by her and other national and international experts.
Conference Fee: £195.00
Conference Organiser: Richard Kieran
Target Audiences: Headteachers, senior managers and those with responsibility for curriculum development in primary schools.
Conference leaders also have experience of running MoE in secondary schools. We welcome delegates from all phases of education.
Participants will:
- use enquiry and dramatic imagination to create powerful contexts for learning;
- employ techniques to push the boundaries and stimulate holistic learning;
- develop opportunities that will have a profound impact on the learning of children.
Conference Venue
The Abbey hotel’s setting is one of the most perfect in the country, close to many interesting cities, yet situated right in the heart of the countryside at the foot of the Malvern Hills.
The hotel is only a few miles from the M5 and Worcester with Birmingham close by, but offers a feeling of seclusion, allowing delegates to get the most out of events without distraction.
