Creative Classrooms Final Report

Creative Classrooms was a year long project developed in partnership with four Tower Hamlets primary schools that expressed a desire to explore the possibilities of drama as a cross curricula learning tool and empower their teachers to gain new skills.
It placed drama/theatre practitioners alongside teachers to develop creative approaches to the curriculum and to develop teachers confidence in using process drama. Whilst the programme “creative classrooms” was not exclusively delivered through “Mantle Of The Expert” this was the key technique and methodology that influenced and informed all of the planning.

    Really inspiring and well documented – yet again we discover that drama is invaluable for developing childrens’ confidence and self esteem! I hope someone picks up on this and it gets the attention it deserves.
