Following the tremendous success of two MoE conferences in Abergavenny, this will be a further opportunity for students, teachers and teacher trainers to benefit from this invaluable training opportunity. This will be the first conference in Wales since the death of Dr. Dorothy Heathcote MBE where we intend to develop her legacy further.

The conference workshops will be led by experienced practitioners of the approach (Luke Abbott and Paul Gibbins) who will lead delegates into deeper exploration of how MoE successfully improves learning and achievement in schools and its power to develop real and lasting understanding of all areas of the curriculum.

Both workshop leaders knew Dr. Dorothy Heathcote and will offer practical insights into the method of Mantle of the Expert which she devised. Each leader will deal with specific areas including classroom practice, preparation and the use of the process as a cross-curricular strategy. The specific focus of sessions will be made available to you closer to conference.
